Zenji Open Projects:About

From Zenji Open Projects

Zenji Open Projects is a set of Open Source initiatives created by Ron Whitman and Zenji Web Development LLC in June of 2008.

Most of the projects in this wiki are direct extensions of the Zenji product Commuter Feed, a traffic and transit reporting application based on the Twitter API.

As a result, these project pertain to big picture problems we encountered with Commuter Feed as well as some enhancements to the field of microblogging.

Zenji sees this as an opportunity to contribute our project vision and management talents to the global community as part of a philosophy of counterbalancing for-profit activities with not-for-profit activities.

Hopefully the open source community will gain something from the research conducted here.

As a wiki, these projects are intended to be completely collaborative. Users are encouraged to contribute to these projects.

Anyone can contribute to the Wiki and projects, however this wiki is restricted to approved users. This means users must, after registration, send an email to info [at] zenjiweb.com with your newly created username to be admitted.
